In EFT Server 5.1 and later, you can set the password history in EFT Administrator. Remembering the last <n> passwords is also configurable in the registry.

This registry setting is available only with "GlobalSCAPE Authentication" and the password type must be "Standard" (Regular).

To activate this feature in versions prior to 5.1, create the following key:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\GlobalSCAPE Inc.\EFT Server 3.0\]

"PasswordHistoryLimit"=dword:00000001

(DWORD = 0 means no history)
