QUESTION: How can I resize volumes on my Dynamic Disk?

ANSWER: There are two possible scenarios:

  1. Simple/Mirrored Volume. If you have only Simple Volumes on a Dynamic Disk, you can convert it to Basic. Once the disk is Basic, it is possible to perform the Resize operation. If you break Mirror, you will get Simple Volumes as well.
  2. Spanned/Striped volume. The program cannot convert such disks, so resizing is unavailable.
