QUESTION: I cannot install CuteBackup which I downloaded yesterday onto a Win NT 4.0 machine with Service pack 6a. A message tells me that I need file version of shell32.dll version 4.71 or above, and the version I have is 4.00. I think this version of CuteBackup is not really NT 4.0 compatible. Can you help me with a solution?
ANSWER: The problem is in the Internet Explorer version you use. We recommend you install the Internet Explorer 4.0 Desktop Update (NOTE: If Desktop Update is not installed, other updates will not work). After you install the Internet Explorer 4.0 Desktop Update, install Internet Explorer 5.0. After this you will be able to install and operate with Partition Manager\Drive Backup without any problem.
