QUESTION
How do I backup/restore my scheduled uploads?
ANSWER
Scheduled uploads and all of the data in the queue window is stored in a file named CIS_Queue.dat, which is located in the same directory as sm.dat.
The location in which CuteFTP's data files are stored depends on your version of Windows:
- Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\GlobalSCAPE\CuteFTP(or CuteFTP Pro)\VERSION\SM.DAT
- Windows Vista: C:\ProgramData\GlobalSCAPE\CuteFTP 8 [Home/Professional]\
- Windows 7: C:\Users\USERNAME\Application Data\Roaming\GlobalSCAPE\CuteFTP Pro\8.0\SM.DAT
(You may need to select "View hidden files and folders" on the View tab in Folder Options.)
