DISCUSSION

To create the symbolic link, use the following command:

mklink /D <local_path> <network_path>

For new installs:

1. During installation, point the installer to the <network_path>.
2. Before the service is started, set the registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GlobalSCAPE Inc.\EFT Server 7.0\HA Settings\SharedConfigurationPath

to

<local_path>

3. Start the service and proceed with the setup as usual.
