Report generation fails and the following Oracle error is returned:

RESOLUTION

This issue applies to environments using older Oracle Data Access Components (ODAC). To resolve the error, do one of the following:

• Install EFT in a directory path that does not contain parentheses (for example, avoid Program Files (x86)).

• Use Oracle 11g ODAC or later (minimum supported build: 11.1.0.6.0) on 64-bit operating systems.

ORA-06413 is a known issue in Oracle ODAC versions prior to 11g. In these versions, applications installed in directories containing parentheses may fail when attempting to use Oracle client tools. This commonly occurs when software is installed under the Program Files (x86) directory on Windows systems.

Modern Oracle client versions do not exhibit this behavior; however, the issue may still be encountered in legacy environments using older ODAC releases.
