SYMPTOMS
When attempting to download a file that has a size in excess of approximately one gigabyte, the transfer fails with an error indicating there is not enough hard disk space on the local drive.
This may occur even though the available free space on the hard disk is more than sufficient to hold the file.
Additionally, the file size may be incorrectly displayed in the Queue pane.
CAUSE
The cause is undetermined. It is known to occur when using CuteFTP XP version 5 on Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
RESOLUTION OR WORKAROUND
This issue affects CuteFTP 5 XP only. This issue can be avoided by upgrading to the most recent version of CuteFTP.
