SYMPTOM

SFTP connections failing in Automate 2024 after upgrading to 8.2.0.46

CAUSE

Automate is using KEX algorithms disabled/ not supported in EFT.

RESOLUTION/WORKAROUND

The workaround solution for this is to either use EFT's connection profiles and connect to remote clients using EFT's SFTP protocol or EFT, or the remote server must have the following KEXes enabled/supported. These are required and only supported by Automate:

diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha1
diffie-hellman-group1-sha1
diffie-hellman-group14-sha1
diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha256
