THE INFORMATION IN THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:
- EFT, v8.2.0.45 - 8.2.0.46 with Advanced Workflow module
SYMPTOM
In EFT, when attempting to edit an existing Advanced workflow remotely, it attempts to open the AWE task Builder but fails, presenting this error: "AutoMate Task Builder is currently unlicensed for continued use."
RESOLUTION
Option (1) :
- Copy the following file from your EFT Server: C:\ProgramData\Automate\Automate Desktop 2024\OEMData.txt and copy this to your local system (same path in the remote system).
- On your local system create the following directory C:\ProgramData\Globalscape\EFT Server\AWE\Temp
- Attempt to open a workflow again
Option (2):
- Upgrade to EFT 8.2.1
Option (3):
- Stop the EFT service, re-install the EFT application as a Repair, and then log in to EFT as normal and retry.
