Decompress Action Scan Timeout

THE INFORMATION IN THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:

  • EFT v8 and later

DISCUSSION

The advanced property sets the timeout in milliseconds for a decompression action scan operation. Scan is used primarily when autodetecting the archive format.

Add the name:value pair below to the AdvancedProperties.JSON file in the \ProgramData\ folder for EFT (for example, C:\ProgramData\Globalscape\EFT Server):

{
"DecompressActionScanTimeout":"3000"
}

The default is 0, meaning that the timeout is disabled. A non-zero value is the number of milliseconds before timeout.
An example value is 30000 milliseconds, which is 30 seconds.
