SYMPTOM

Unable to run reports on Windows 2008 R2 when logged in as a domain administrator.

RESOLUTION

Grant the domain account access to the Auditing and Reporting database.

MORE INFORMATION

EFT Server's Transfer Engine (TE) and the administration interface work under different accounts. The TE writes to the database under the LOCALSYSTEM account, which has access to the database. The domain account has no access to the database, by default.
