SYMPTOM

The Web Transfer Client is slow to respond when behind a proxy server.

RESOLUTION

When the Web Transfer Client (WTC) is behind a proxy, you can experience delays if the proxy's IP address is not defined in the Host file or the corporate DNS. If the proxy's IP address is defined in the Host file or the local DNS, you should not experience any delays.

To add your proxy's IP address to the Host file or internal DNS, contact your network system administrator.
