THE INFORMATION IN THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:
- EFT Server 4.3 to 5.x (using MSDE)
(EFT Server Enterprise version 6 and later can connect to SQL or Oracle databases.)
SYMPTOM
The values for the ARM database connection are missing.
CAUSE
Under some circumstances, particularly certain upgrade scenarios, the values for the ARM database connection may be deleted.
RESOLUTION
The following default values are used during installation:
Server name: localhost\GlobalSCAPE
Database name: EFTDB
Username: This is the username for the ARM database connection that was provided by the administrator during the initial installation.
Password: This is the password for the ARM database connection that was provided by the administrator during the initial installation.
