System cannot find the environment option that was entered

SYMPTOM

System cannot find the environment option that was entered

RESOLUTION

If EFT Server will not run and generates the error message "The system could not find the environment option that was entered," verify that the system has full access to the EFT Server executable (cftpses.exe). Also, make sure you are launching the service from the NT Services applet, not from the command prompt.
