THE INFORMATION IN THIS ARTICLE APPLIES TO:
Multi-part (COMB) uploads to Titan fail.
None. Titan and CuteFTP have different implementations of the COMB command and they are not compatbile with each other. (CuteFTP can use the COMB command with EFT Server.)
The file is transferred in multiple parts, as it should. However, the failure occurs when attempting to reassemble the transferred file.
The log reports:
||[8/20/2012 2:26:07 PM] COMB "/my1gbfile2" "/my1gbfile21.tmp"
||[8/20/2012 2:26:07 PM] 451 Requested action aborted: local error in processing.
||[8/20/2012 2:26:07 PM] Temporary completion problem reply.
||[8/20/2012 2:26:07 PM] Can't merge transferred files.
||[8/20/2012 2:26:07 PM] Waiting 30 seconds...
Titan FTP Server fails to execute COMB commands sent by CuteFTP because CuteFTP sends COMB commands with quoted filenames in arguments, but Titan can't handle quoted filenames.
