The following error message appears after installing Secure Ad Hoc Transfer:
"The current identity (NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE) does not have write access to <framework directory>."
This error can occur on a Windows 2003 computer when Microsoft .NET 3.5 is installed BEFORE Microsoft IIS is installed. If this occurs, simply provide the network service with write access to the framework directory (e.g., C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5).
The way to provide the network service with write access to the framework directory is to run the ASP.NET IIS registration tool.
To run the ASP.NET Registration Tool
At command prompt, change to the directory that contains the executable. For example, type:
Type the following, then press ENTER:
ASP.NET is installed and registered.
