- Secure Ad Hoc Transfer Module, version 1.5
Secure Ad Hoc Transfer module installer does not detect presense of .NET and will not complete installation.
Before installing the SAT module, ensure that IIS is set up with .NET.
The Secure Ad Hoc Transfer (SAT) module requires the use of .NET; during installation, the installer searches the computer to ensure that .NET is installed and to identify the location. If .NET is not installed or the installer cannot find it, the installation will fail.
If .NET is installed, but the installer does not detect it, it is not registered correctly on the computer. You will need to run the ASP.NET registration tool to register it on the computer.
If you do NOT have the .NET framework installed on your system, you can download and install it from the Microsoft Developer Network.
If you already have the framework installed, or if you download and install it, but IIS still does not show any .NET-related information (such as the ASP.NET tab), then run the ASP.NET IIS Registration Tool, found in the .NET installation folder (e.g., C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727). The file is called aspnet_regiis.exe and you must pass in a "-i" parameter.
At command prompt, change to the directory that contains the executable. For example, type
Type the following, then press ENTER:
ASP.NET is installed and registered.
