When visiting your Web site, my browser does not display the lock icon that normally indicates that a Web site is hosted on a secure server.  Is the GlobalSCAPE website and shopping cart secure?

ANSWER 

Most areas of the GlobalSCAPE Web site are not hosted on a secure server however the final checkout process is.  When you finish adding items to the cart, click Checkout/Order and you will be redirected to our secure server before you are asked to provide us with your personal information.  While you are in the secure area of our Web site, the address will always begin with HTTPS.

Note:  Internet Explorer 7 has moved the Lock icon from the status bar to an area next to the Address bar.
