Is Secure FTP Server Compatible with Windows NT 4.0?
ANSWER
GlobalSCAPE does not officially support Secure FTP Server running on Windows NT 4.0 and our QA team no longer tests Secure FTP Server in that environment. Even so, we have had reports from several customers indicating that they run Secure FTP Server 3 on Windows NT 4.0 successfully.
Implementation requires installation of the Active Directory Client Extension from Microsoft. That component does not come with Windows NT 4.0 but it is required by Secure FTP Server 3.
