Which implementation of OpenPGP does EFT use?

ANSWER

Enhanced File Transfer (EFT) adheres to the OpenPGP standard and is RFC 4880 compliant. Note that OpenPGP is a standard and has no version. Refer to RFC 4880 for details.

EFT supports the following ciphers for OpenPGP:

  • IDEA
  • 3-DES
  • CAST 5
  • Twofish
  • AES128
  • AES192
  • AES256

EFT supports the following hashing algorithms for OpenPGP:

  • MD 5
  • SHA –1
  • RIPEMD-160
  • SHA-256
  • SHA-384
  • SHA-512
