QUESTION

Can I change the TCP window size?

ANSWER

The WAFS Agent sets its TCP window size to 131070. You can overwrite this value by adding a DWORD value called TcpWindowSize at the following location (depending on your OS):

32-bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Availl\AvaillClient\Settings

or

64-bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Availl\AvaillClient\Settings

Editing the registry is for advanced users only. Incorrectly editing the registry can severely damage your system. You should always back up (export a copy of) the registry before you make any changes to it.

For more information about TcpWindowSize, refer to the Microsoft TechNet article at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc938219.aspx.
