Managing SSL Certificates, SSH Keys, and OpenPGP Keys remotely
The following operations require that you are logged onto the Server computer rather than from a remote computer:
- Creation of SSH keys must be on the local system.
- Creation of the SSL certificates must be on the local system.
- Importing an OpenPGP key can be performed remotely; however, the key that you import must be selected from the local system. Once imported into the key ring manager, the remote server stores it in its key ring.
