Is EFT Server available in a 64-bit version?

EFT Server prior to version 6 is not available in a 64-bit version; however, as a 32-bit program, it is expected to run seamlessly on 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows.  GlobalSCAPE has many users that have reported success running EFT Server on Windows Server 2003 x64 and there are no known issues when doing so.

64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows use the Microsoft Windows-32-on-Windows-64 (WOW64) subsystem to run 32-bit programs without modifications.  For more information, see Microsoft KB Article 896456 or the Running 32-bit Applications topic in the 64-Bit Windows section of the Microsoft Platform SDK documentation.

If you are using EFT Server on a 64-bit version of Windows, and you encounter any problems, please contact GlobalSCAPE Technical Support.  Please be prepared to provide as much detail and information as possible, including specific information about the operating system, hardware and error conditions.  Please include screenshots and event logs as well as any other information that may be useful or relevant.
