Is CuteFTP Compatible with Windows Vista?

| | QUESTION | | | Is CuteFTP compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista? | | | | | ANSWER | | | CuteFTP 8 is compatible with all editions of Microsoft Windows Vista (32 and 64 bit). We have run limited tests using CuteFTP 5 XP, CuteFTP 6 (Home and Pro) and CuteFTP 7 (Home and Pro) and have found no problems that would keep them from running on Windows Vista however in some cases, activation may be troublesome or even impossible. In such cases, some older versions of CuteFTP (such as CuteFTP 4.2) may not run on Windows Vista beyond the 30-day trial period. We will continue to update this article as new information becomes available. - When running CuteFTP (versions 8.0.0 - 8.0.5 only) on Windows Vista, the following error may be encountered when closing the program:
This issue was fixed in CuteFTP 8.0.6. Please browse to KB Article ID Q10347 for more information. - When using the default Windows Vista theme and connected with a remote site (or when editing a file), the remote pane is missing the Minimize, Restore and Close buttons normally displayed at the top right of the remote pane. This issue was fixed in CuteFTP 8.1. For more information about this error, please browse to KB Article ID Q10348.
- When using Thumbnail View, thumbnail images may not be displayed or may be displayed only occasionally. This issue was fixed in CuteFTP 8.2. For more information about this error, please browse to KB Article ID Q10349.

I run CuteFTP 4.2.3 Build 2.14.1 on my Vista Buisness Dell Vostro 1500 and it BEEPS anytime I click on an item in the lower window - Even with my system sounds turned off.

I tried Smart FTP and there is no help at all. I will be trying CuteFTP soon.
I Tried Adding My Purchased Serial Number And Got The "Administrator Rights" Error Message, So I Came Here To See If I Could Find The Answer. Thanks For Taking The Time To Have This Information Available. Vista Is Frustrating Sometimes.

Upgraded to Vista Ultimate and installed CuteFTP 4.2 and it appears to work without any errors.
